DMCA & Copyright Policy

Videotolink respects copyright and responds to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Videos are uploaded by users; if you believe content hosted on videotolink.net infringes your copyright, follow the process below and we will act expeditiously.

Filing a takedown notice

Send a notice to support@videotolink.net including all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
2. The URL of the allegedly infringing video on videotolink.net (the videotolink.net/v/... link);
3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the content promptly and notify the uploader (if reachable).

Counter-notification

If your video was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to support@videotolink.net including:

1. Identification of the removed content and the URL where it appeared;
2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
3. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, any judicial district in which Videotolink may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice;
4. Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within 10-14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, and block further uploads from repeat-infringing sources.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages.

Other removal requests

For requests that are not copyright claims, such as removal of a guest upload, a video of you shared without consent, or other abuse, email support@videotolink.net with the link. See also our Terms of Service acceptable-use rules.
